Edition: First edition, first impression, with the copyright page entirely blank and "The Never Land" not included in the pagination. Cloth stamped in white rather than the more common gilt (no priority known). Original dust jacket, unpriced as issued. (Cutler, 1931)
Condition and Description: Octavo, olive cloth stamped in white, 267 pp. Spine gilt bright but much of the white stamping rubbed away, as common. Hinges and binding sturdy, although there is about a one-inch split at the endpaper of the front hinge (refer to the final picture for a close-up). Contents foxed, most heavily to the preliminary and terminal leaves. All illustrations present and clear of foxing. The original dust jacket has fading to the extremities and spine, as usual; wear to the spine ends; small losses to the joints and edges; and staining to the verso of the spine crown. Preserved in a removable mylar cover.
