The front board features a gilt recreation of the iconic plantation vignette used on the design of the first edition dust jacket. The gilt remains gleaming, the leather supple, and the binding tight. Trace wear and handling marks to the boards and to the edges of the text block. A striking copy of Mitchell's classic.
