Condition and Description: Octavo, 8.25” x 5.75”, publisher’s green cloth with printed paper title label to the spine, deckled fore and bottom edges, 443 pp. A sharp example of a book and jacket that are notoriously difficult to find in collectible condition. Clean cloth; bright and clean paper label; securely bound; a hint of spotting to the upper edge; partially erased owner’s name and price to the front free endpaper. Dust jacket retains vibrant coloring and has shallow chips to the edges; a short closed tear to the bottom edge of the front panel, lightly stabilized and with adjacent creases; and mild toning and rubbing.
