Condition and Description: Octavo, pale green cloth lettered in purple, 222 pp. On the front free endpaper, Bradbury writes, in his characteristic early hand, "For Ronald / with my very best wishes / from / Ray Bradbury / May, 1950." Minor bump to the bottom tips. Foxing to the top edge of the text block. Some fading to the spine, as usual (the pigment in the cloth is especially prone to this, even in the jacket). Tight hinges and binding. Tanning from the pastedown to the free endpapers and the ink of the inscription, except where protected by the jacket flaps. Clean pages. Dust jacket with light rubbing, some fading to the spine, and a little transfer from the ink of the inscription to the front flap.
